Who are we…?
Mark Apolzer is the company director and founder. Born in Montreal, and growing up in Western Canada, Kimberley B.C. Mark has spent 28+ years in the Hospitality business at a very professional level covering every aspect. Through the mentorship of Peter Rathpoller (An amazing, fantastic Chef and a devoted family man) Mark has learned the basics of this business which molds the key to personal and professional success. Mark owes everything to his beginning teachings, Thanks Peter. Although Mark may have grown up in a small German restaurant called the Gasthaus am Platzel, located in Kimberley BC, Some of the titles he has held at much bigger outlets have been Executive Chef, Operations Manager, Corporate Manager, and Sales Manager.

Mark was inspired by his grandfathers accomplishments as an immigrant from Turkey sent by his common working father to achieve a better life in Canada. Talet Salman attended Mcgill University and accomplished a PHD in Mining and Enginering. Talet became a professor at the University and headed up the dept. When he passed it took three men to fill his position.

Mark was encouraged by his grandmother and her love for the Hospitality industry, because of her Italian roots. She always wanted to open a restaurant but her dedication to her husband and family was more pressing. As a boy Mark was introduced to the industry at an early age, and found himself in love with the sounds and the atmosphere of the restaurant industry.

You can never forget where you came from, this will inspire you to get where you are going. Pictured is the Apolzer family, my dad, father, uncles and grandparents. My grandfather was an amazing sales man and won many awards for his efforts. |

An existing or start-up business can benefit from our consulting packages which would include; teaching and training of staff from all levels, Food Safety Course (NFSTP-CRFA), Pro-Serve / ASIP public facilitator for AGLC, secret shoppers program, VIP industry networking program, Web and or Tech. support consultation / set-up, Human Resources Dept. with on going applicants available for review based on membership level, Rozel Chemicals program with the ability to cover all your ware wash and paper needs at great prices & service, Entertainment services ect…
Functions coordinating / Marketing:
We are consistently developing a list of Restaurants, Halls, and Pubs etc. to Market. Once you are set-up as an account with Apolzer and Sons Inc. we then can promote your companies services to potential Customers for Bookings, Events and Functions.
Catering:
Apolzer and Sons Inc. will be able to provide a Catering service which will meet the required needs depending on the nature of the function. As we develop Accounts meeting our requirements for Catering services, menu selections, prices, and availabilities are usually the largest questions on a customers’ mind. However we can solve these concerns with our extensive experience at reach. Weddings, Company Picnics, Meetings, Celebration Banquets, etc. all require a certain level of service and professionalism. These details will be handled through Apolzer and Sons Inc. partnering with their successful Accounts. Check out our Dial-A-Chef program located in the Catering section.
